A special event hosted by Andrea Miranda and Allen Zino, and Chef Amy Murray. Featuring 4 iconic Roederer sparkling wines from Anderson Valley, including the rare, and hard to purchase L'ermitage Rose (only 500 cases are made per year, only 30 cases are available in California), and Champagne Collection 243 sourced from the "HEART OF THE TERROIR." We have loved Roederer throughout the years, and are thrilled to collaborate on this special Holiday Event. We will feature the Brut, the Brut Rose, L'ermitage 2017, L'ermitage Rose 2014 and the Collection 243. Each course will be paired with 5 unique dishes that compliment the flavors of each wine. This event is limited to 25 people. Andrea will delight us with "vignettes" of the Roederer story and how these great wines are created. We will have bottles and cases for sale at special pricing, just in time for Holiday gifts!
Roederer Estate’s winemaking style is based on two elements: ownership of its own vineyards and the addition of oak-aged reserve wines to each year’s blend or cuvée. All the grapes for the Anderson Valley wines are grown on the Estate. Oak-aged wines from the Estate’s reserve cellars are added to the blend, creating a multi-vintage cuvée in the traditional Louis Roederer style. Only the cuvée (first pressing of 120 gallons/ton) is used. Zero to minimal malolactic fermentation is used in order to ensure the wines age well and retain the fresh, precise and well-defined style that is intrinsic to Roederer Estate wines.
